A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has inaugurated a fully furnish campaign office he donated to co-ordinate the North-east campaign activities for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 16 Presidential election.
Gwamna, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), made the disclosure on Thursday while briefing newsmen said the campaign office was well furnished with internet facilities and would co-ordinate the North-east activities of the Buhari campaign organisations and groups in the zone.
According to him, the internet activities provided was to improve the social ratings of President Muhammadu Buhari in the North-east sub-region and get more youths to be aware of the dividends of the Buhari administration.
“Today, many youths depend heavily on social media for their news and they believe what they are fed especially in the North-east. So I am donating the well-furnished internet office that will serve to co-ordinate all campaign activities of the President in the North-east and sell the image of the president to youths of the north-east and Nigeria.”

“With this office it will be possible to digitalise the activities of our campaign for the president in this zone. President Buhari has done a lot for the country that were yet to be made available online.
According to him with an office of this nature, we will expose the good deeds of the present administrations for all to see before deciding who the next president of Nigeria will be.
Gwamna said the office is open to all organisations and groups who want to contribute to the campaign for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The APC chieftain stressed that all media platforms; traditional or social would be used to ensure the re-election of President Buhari, adding that all fake news against the present administration in the zone would be debunk with facts using the internet facilities.
Gwamna, who was a gubernatorial aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said his love for the leadership style of PMB in administering the affairs of the nation triggered his supports for him. “I can go all out for the president because the welfare of Nigerians is at stake if the President is not re-elected.” Hey said.
It would be recalled that Gwamna had on Jan. 12, donated a Marcopolo Bus to ease movement of group and organisations campaigning for President Buhari and Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya.
