The All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday in Sokoto took its campaign beyond words to provide free medical outreach to the electorate in Silame and Binji local governments.
A good number of those that benefitted from the free medical treatment told LEADERSHIP that they attended the event to honour the clarion call by Senator Wamakko.
While leading 1562 PDP members to APC in Silame, a founding member of the party and former secretary of the local government, Alhaji Yahaya Silame, said they decided to follow Senator Wamakko to anywhere he is going as far as leadership at whatever level was concern.
. Said Yahaya, “While we were in the APC, we were called upon and said the time has come to defect to the PDP and I happened to be one of those that advise them as at then. I told them, very bluntly thay nobody can contest against Wamakko in Sokoto and expect victory.

“Wamakko is a not only a leader but a movement in Sokoto and beyond. His accommodative leadership prowess is beyond human comprehension. His projects as governor and now a Senator is everywhere in the state”.
Speaking earlier, Senator Wamakko thanked the people of the state for their unalloyed support and confidence in his judgement.
Wamakko further assured them of more government presence after winning the forthcoming election.
On his part, the state governorship candidate of APC, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto said, he is seeking to continue with Wamakko’s legacies when elected.
He told the electorate, “We are here today to appreciate you for your unanimous resolve to follow Senator Wamakko and APC. We are therefore urging you to come out en masse and cast your vote without fight. Come out and ensure that you vote out those representing you that are still in PDP.
“APC will do all that is possible. We will not be telling people lies like others are doing. I therefore urge you to demand from them explanations on how many projects they have executed so far?
