APGA Candidate Launches Free Transport In Kaduna

House of Representative candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Adams Abubakar Ekene, yesterday launched free Keke Napep transportation for people of Chikun local government area.

Speaking at Gbagyi Villa, venue of the launch and distribution, yesterday, Ekene said,  “I am one of the happiest persons today, I am very passionate about the welfare and wellbeing of the people of my constituency who I am seeking to represent.

“For 16 years, the people of Chikun/ Kajuru Federal constituency has not benefitted dividends of democracy and am committed to change the narrative positively.

“Today I am launching 35 Ekene Keke Napep transport system which will convey people for free from various bus stops and locations and will remain within the constituency to ease transportation of the people of the constituency.

“Some people will be car owners today, am doing this because am passionate about empowering our people with the little God has blessed me with.

“What am doing  today, I am not doing it because I am seeking election but because it is part of me to bless people with what God has blessed me with. I assure you that when I get elected, it will be a continuous thing by the grace of God.

“I am also giving a car to a young upcoming musician whose song is so touchy with lots of meaning, I will also be giving the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kaduna Chapter a Sharon car to ease their activities,” he stressed.

On his chances of emerging victorious at the polls, the House of Representatives hopeful said,  “I don’t see the incumbent as an issue, am confident that before 12 noon I would have defeated him. The people of my constituency must be delivered from redundancy of the incumbent who have not been able to better their lives for the past 16 years.”

Some of the beneficiaries of the vehicles commended the gesture and prayed God to give him victory at the polls, while the mammoth crowd who gathered promised to deliver their votes for him come February 16.

The councillor representing Sabon Tasha ward in Chikun local government area of the state on the platform of APGA, Hon Ganaka James described Hon. Ekene as a philanthropist who takes pleasure in making peoples’ lives better.

He urged the people of the area to vote for him for better representation.
