A former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Abubakar Audu, has won the primaries of the All Progressives Congress for the upcoming governorship election in the state.
Audu emerged in the early hours of Sunday with 1,109 votes after a not-so-keenly contested election.
His closest rival, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, had 701 votes and coming a distant third was a former Senator, Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman, who polled 400 votes.
