Badaru, APC Leaders Commend Masari’s Performance

National leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, have passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Governor Aminu Bello Masari.

The APC stalwarts called on the electorate to support his second term bid.

National Vice Chairman of the party in the South West, Chief Niyi Adebayo; the APC Welfare Secretary, Ibrahim Masari; North West Zonal Secretary, Inuwa Abdulkadir; former National Secretary of the party turned Yobe State governorship candidate of the APC, Mai Mala Bunu, and Governor Of Jigwa State, who met in Kafur, the home town of Governor Masari on Wednesday, said they were convinced by Masari’s performance.

The party leaders however expressed optimism that the governor would further fast track the development and growth of Katsina if given the opportunity to serve a second term.

The party stalwarts, who paid a visit in solidarity with the governor during his gubernatorial campaign in his home local government, were confident that APC would emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.

While addressing a mammoth crowd at Government Secondary School Kafur playground, Masari, who was visibly elated with the massive turn out of people, said if given the another mandate, he would do everything possible to make his people to become proud of his achievements in office.

Midway into the campaigns, the National Vice Chairman of APC, Chief Niyi Adebayo, arrived in a helicopter and joined the campaign train.

Former deputy governor of Katsina state, Tukur Jikamshi; an elder, Gide Sabuwar Kasa, and the leader of thousands of defectors from other parties to APC in the area, Bature Umar Masari, all stressed the need for APC supporters to turn out en masse to vote candidates of the party in all elective positions.
