Zamfara Governor, Bello Matawalle has appointed Kabiru Balarabe as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
A statement by his spokesman, Yusuf Idris announced the appointment.
Balarabe was the Head of Civil Service, a position he held since August 16, 2019.
The native of Dogon Kade in Kaura Namoda Local Government was born March 15, 1966.
Balarabe holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Sokoto, now Uthman Danfodio University (UDUS).

Balarabe, the Sardauna of Dan Isa, is the North-West Zonal Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).
