2021 has indeed been an eventful year for some celebrities as they welcomed their babies and a few became parents for the first time.

Aside celebrities, some persons also became parents for the first time after a long time of waiting and trying.

An example is Temidola Ladeinde, a Human Resources specialist who welcomed a set of triplets after 12 years of marriage.

According to her, a colleague in her office had taunted her that he was skilful at impregnating ladies during her period of barrenness.

Banky W and Adesua Etomi
In February, popular Nigerian singer Banky W and his actress wife, Adesua Etomi welcomed their first child, Zaiah.

The couple tied the knot on November 19, 2017.
Kizz Daniel
Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, announced the birth of his twin sons on his birthday, May 1.

The Woju crooner named his twin sons Jelani and Jalil. In another announcement, he had revealed that his children were born as triplets but one died four days after birth.

He, however, did not disclose the mother of his children.

Samuel Ajibola
Nollywood actor, Samuel Ajibola, and his wife, Sandra welcomed their first child; a baby boy in mid December.

The actor known for his role as Spiff in the popular series, The Johnsons, married his wife, Sandra, in 2020

Comedian Ayo Ajewole, better known as Woli Agba, in October welcomed a baby boy with his wife, revealing that he lost a child a year ago.
Arguably one of the most popular ‘gospel’ comedians in the entertainment industry, Woli Agba stated that when he lost a baby in 2020, he performed on stage like nothing happened.
Daniel Etim-Effiong
Nollywood actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong and his wife, Toyosi, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

Toyosi, who is also a TV producer, made the announcement on her verified Instagram page on September 4.

Gedoni and Khafi Ekpata
Big Brother Naija ex-housemates, Khafi and Gedoni Ekpata, in August welcomed their first child following their marriage in 2020.

Uche Ogbodo
Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, welcomed her second child on June 6.

The actress, during the announcement, revealed that the child weighed three kg at birth.

She had the child with her lover, Bobby Marris, who is also a rising singer.

Chiamaka Nwokeukwu
Nollywood actress, Chiamaka Nwokeukwu, and her husband welcomed their first daughter together on December 24.
While announcing the good news, she called her new baby her “Christmas gift.” The actress got married in April 2021.
