How do you feel when those three letter word(Sex) is mentioned. Am sure it trigger off loads of reaction from those funny feeling down below;to the awful despair of a mother hearing about her teenage daughter’s sex escapade.
Well let shy away from the rhetorics. To be young comes with seemly insatiable urge to explore the world of intimacy. That isn’t a bad idea holistically but what seems disturbing about this whole affairs is the selfishness of men.
Our modern culture with infinite sexuality have disadvantaged women to aspire to become an object of sexual satisfaction for ravaging men who can’t control there loins(In the name of being in a relationship).
Our society have structured men to be explorers of that world of infinite bliss. While a woman who on the other hand long for the same marginal utility is considered to be ‘Prostitute’. From the very point of intimacy woman have been told not to take initiative they’ve been molded by society never to request for something more fulfilling within the bedroom.
Just the other day we heard the president of a nation saying he doesn’t know the party the wife belongs to, excerpt the kitchen, living room and the other room. Whatever our choice of analysis might be its fine.
But what I consider quite disadvantageous about the whole notion of misogynistic attitude towards women about sex is as follows.
* Beyond the minutes of intimacy. Women her expected to bear the aftermath only I.e teenage pregnancy
* Men are allowed to selfishly equate sex to love
* Women are considered agent of sexual perversion by most men.
*A woman who demand equality and satisfaction is consider morally out of place.
*Society says abortion is evil, yet rape victims are told to keep silent.
*A girl is told keep to her virginity, yet the boy is taught to prove his manliness. What a cruel morality.
Research in human sexuality have consistently shown that there are so many women who’ve such unfulfilling moments in the bedroom. Some have to deprive themselves the bliss by faking orgasm to please their husbands. While others suffer the scourge of daily sexual violence without possible exit door (Divorce).
