The much anticipated song and video, Live Your Live is finally set for release. The Israeli-American born musician, Ms Bodega, disclosed this to the Guardian last week, as she wraped up plans to release the much hyped song project.

With a music career that has seen her work with U.S., Latin and Caribbean music producers and artistes, the songwriter and record label owner, described the campaign as an international collaboration featuring six different artistes in five languages, with a message to inspire people to ‘Live their Lives’ to the fullest no matter what their circumstances are.

The song features Jamaican superstar Gyptian, MC Galaxy (Nigeria), Neza Africa (Rwanda/Canada), Neil Bajayo (US/Israel), Young D (Nigeria) and herself.Over the years, the multi-talented singer has striven to penetrate the African music market with her afro-pop music, a genre that is not popular where she came from. But Ms Bodega is not new to breaking new grounds and barriers while taking bold steps. This explains her musical voyage to different European countries, where she has managed to establish herself, not just as a musician but also a music producer, writer and performer.

While speaking on what inspired the ‘Live Your Life’ campaign, Ms Bodega said, “We are very excited about this project as it is meant to inspire people around the world to ‘Live their life’ to the fullest and not be afraid to take chances. Also part of the proceeds will be going to charities and foundations that support sustainable education in Africa and help at-risk youth in growth and development.”

Now that she seems to be feeling at home with Nigerian music, the singer said she feels happy to be embraced by Africans and Afropop/Afrobeats genre, adding, “I hope I have made my long lasting impression so far even as I know it is still a start of what I know will be a life-long, lasting relationship between my music and Nigerian market and, of course, Africa, as a whole.”
