BREAKING: Three Injured As Gas Tanker Explodes On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Three men have been reported injured in a gas tanker explosion that occurred near Berger Yard around KLM 38 on the outward Lagos section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway corridor. According to a Situation Report by the Sagamu Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, the incident occurred on Sunday evening.

The fire was said to involve a Liquefied Petroleum Gas tanker moving towards Sagamu Interchange on the outward Lagos section of the expressway.

However, the FRSC operatives from the Sagamu and Mowe Unit Commands were said to have been quickly deployed to the scene. Also, firefighters from the Ogun State Fire Service have intervened to bring the situation under control.

Meanwhile, information available at the time of this report showed that the three injured adult male occupants had been taken to Idera Hospital, Sagamu for medical attention.

The details of the vehicle could not be obtained yet as the fire was still burning. But, the firefighters contacted had arrived at the scene.
