Buhari arrives in Daura for Sallah

President Muhammad Buhari on Friday evening arrived in his home town, Daura, where he would celebrate Eid-el- Kabir on Sunday.

The presidential jet conveying the President landed at Malam Umar Musa Yar’adua Airport, Katsina a few minutes after five o’clock.

Governor Aminu Masari, accompanied by his Deputy, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, the speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly, Alhaji Tasi’u Zango, the Deputy speaker, ShehuUsman  Tafoki and some members of the State House of Assembly as well as the secretary to the state government, Dr Mustapha Inuwa, and some security chiefs in the state, were available to welcome Buhari at the airport.

He thereafter took off for Daura in a helicopter.
