President Mohammadu Buhari has made new appointments in some of the nation’s tertiary institutions and health agencies. A statement signed by Olusegun Adekunle, Permanent Secretary (General Services Office) Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and made available to Journalists in Abuja indicated that Dr. Anasa Ahmad Sabir, has emerged as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto.

He was appointed for initial period of four years with effect from May 17. Other appointees include: Dr. Theresa Obumneme Okoli as Provost, Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, Anambra State and Dr. Emmanuel Ikenyiri, Provost, Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku, Rivers State.
The two appointments are for the initial period of four (4) years with effect from May 17. Also, Dr. Pius Olakunle Osunyikanmi was appointed Director/CEO Directorate of Technical Aid Corps, and in accordance with section 9 (2)b of Directorate of Technical Aid Corps Act, 2004, for a second and final term of five years with effect from August 10, 2018.
