Aisha Wakil has disclosed that the story published by TheCable on 14th August, 2016 were not just fabricated but a figment of the writer’s imagination.
The woman who has been at the fore front of bringing the insurgency to an end declared that TheCable, an online publication story was in bad taste. She stated that she read the story just two days ago and was bewildered by the lies and misinformation in the story.
In a telephone chat with Infotrust, she expressed strong displeasure about the publication in TheCable.ng published on 14th Aug, 2016, titled-“WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE: Meet Aisha Wakil aka ‘Mama Boko Haram’.
She said, “All the stories were fabricated. Never seen this type of lies before”.
“Cable News published a story on me that I was the person who introduced Marwan when I was a member of Peace and Dialogue Committee chaired by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki. It was equally stated that I was dismissed by the committee but re-absolved out of respect for my ‘retired’ husband. That they trailed my origin to no avail. These are blatant lies!
“Lest I forget, they stated that I took some youths to the committee claiming to be Boko Haram members, they equally insinuated that I was privy with the so called Chadian peace accord led by Hassan Tukur, I am not!
“May Allah curse whoever concocted this falsehood. For me, we must look for the way forward to end the crisis, whether any demi-god likes it or not.
“My husband is still a serving judge. He is a serving high court judge in Borno. Can you see their lies?
“Nigerians deserve to know the truth. You can check these names-Kalama Abbah, Sheikh Abbas, and one Dr Saje who duped me of my personal money in the name of bokoharam commanders and how they were jailed.
“Nigerians need to be told of the Chadian episode headed by Turaki and co on pretense of getting the Chibok girls, how they duped and shared millions of dollars. What happened when he was interviewed on television?
“I challenge anyone to come forward with proofs of giving me anything, once proved, let me face the consequences. Every assertion must be proved, not just to sit down and fabricate lies. Turaki and co collected much money from the government, let him give account of how he spent the huge money GEJ gave him.
“I don’t think anyone would ever agree to use their money in search of peace in our country the way I did and still doing. I’m not doing it for personal gains but for my salvation and that of my family and friends. I offered all my sacrifices for my heavenly bank. You see this peace, Insha Allah we will get it.
