Shenzhen Metro’s Line 11 will be put into trial operation on June 30. With a total length of 51.9 kilometers and a maximum running speed of 120 kilometers per hour, it will become the longest and fastest urban rail transit line in China.
Crossing three of the city’s districts, the line’s starting station is Futian and its end point is Bitou. Since March 30, the line has gone through three months of no-load operation and the stations along the line have been undergoing final construction.
When the line is completed, it will take about 30 minutes to get from the downtown area to the Shenzhen Airport.
