A witness narrated that the deceased had just returned from a bank where he was sent on an errand by the resident pastor of the church.

He was said thereafter to have been directed by church officials to trim a mango tree but while he was doing so from the top of the tree, his instrument contacted a high tension electricity wire.
“The man was immediately electrocuted and died hanging on the tree,” the witness said.
It was learnt that the early intervention of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Gboko ‘A’ Division, CSP Nerson Iorhemba, calmed the frayed nerves of angry youth in the area.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Catherine Anene, said she was yet to receive the report.
