Nsirim noted that the restriction on the number of worshippers during church services has been increased from 50 to 70 persons in the State.

According to him, the State government was still working on modalities for the number of Muslims that can congregate for Friday prayers.

These were part of resolutions reached at a meeting between Wike and religious leaders at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the State capital.

At the meeting, Wike commended the religious leaders for complying with the directive of 50 persons per gathering and the maintenance of COVID-19 advisories.

According to DailyPost ,the Governor also assured that his administration would provide palliatives to religious organisations through their umbrella organisations.
