David Hall Schools’ inter-house holds today

All is set for the second bi-annual inter house sports competition of David Hall Schools on Saturday. The event will commence at 10am at SSS mini-sport complex, behind Ikoyi passport office.

To herald the event, the school on Wednesday held a conference tagged ‘Building Youth Through Sports’, where one of the sponsors of the Green House, Gbolahan Olusegun Yishawu, represented by Mr. Steven Onyemaechi, described inter-house sports competition as a way of building and developing the students’ talents, adding that it is also a platform for instilling discipline in the students.

Head of the school, Mrs. Alakija Rhoda said she was excited by the preparation for the competition and assured the students that the umpires would not be biased.

The students will vie for honours in relay races, 100m, 200m, 800m and 1500m races, while Kings College, Holy Child School and Aunty Ayo International School, among others, will feature in the invitational relay.
