What better way to celebrate Bruce Wayne’s birthday other than having bats cheer him on.
DC Comics, it has been revealed will celebrate the 80th birthday of the world’s greatest detective in a series of events which will include a comic release and of course, bats (literally.)
Come the 15th of this month, the bats numbering 1.5 million (that is a lot of hips and hoorays by the way) will be let out over the Congress Bridge in Texas to celebrate one of their own.

In the events earmarked for Bruce, a hardcover Detective Comics’ 1000th and 80 Years of Batman — The Deluxe Edition issue to released on the 27th and 19th respectively will be released, an exclusive Batman merch, and a mural will be unveiled.
In addition to this, Batman is taking things seriously as DC will be launching several batman themed campaigns.
