The Delta State elections’ petition tribunal has granted the prayers of Oboro Evelyn and the people’s Democratic Party ( PDP) filed in an exparte motion to examine all polling documents to the Delta Central Senatorial District elections which held on February 23,2019.
After considering the prayers of the petitioners, pursuant to section 6(6) (a) and ( b) of the Constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria 1999( as amended) sections 157(2) and 151of the Electoral Act 2010, (as amended) the chairman of the tribunal, Justice M A Abubakar held that the motion had merit.

In the petition number: Ept/ Dt / SEN/ 01/ 19, the petitioners also prayed the court to grant leave to the applicant to bring the application before the pre hearing session, joined as respondents are Senator Omo Agege, Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) and All progressive Congress ( APC) .
Similarly, the prayers of Kenneth Ibru and the PDP in the petition with number EPT/ DT/ SHA/ 36/ 19/ directed the first respondent to allow the petitioner access to the electoral materials as it referred to the Delta State House of Assembly Ughelli North constituency 1held on February 9,2019 for examination.
In another exparte motion, the court granted the prayers of Temisan Omatseye and the Action Democratic Party ( ADP) against James Manager, PDP and INEC in its petition numbered EPT/ DT/ SEN/ 12/19, that an order of court be served on James Manager 1st respondent by substituted means.
The lead counsel to the petitioner Donald Igwe Esq expressed satisfaction with the ruling of the court, stressing that implication was automatic personal service.
