Ekiti FA begins 5-team 2015 league

The Ekiti State Football Association on Friday began its 2015 league involving five teams.

The association’s Head, Technical Committee, Mr. Segun Adelakun, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Ado-Ekiti that the league would be played at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.

He said five teams in the state, Crown FC, Kola Babes, Civil Defence, Ijaloke FC and FYSC were participating in the competition.

Adelakun said the teams that have the highest number of points and goal aggregate would be the winner of the competition.

He also said in a situation where two teams had the same points, goals for and against would decide or through play off and throwing of coins.

Adelakun charged all the teams to be discipline.

He said any act of hooliganism would not be tolerated and any team that disrupted matches would automatically lose three points and three goals if found guilty.
