The Turkey-based defender has once again earned the trust and confidence of gaffer, Gernot Rohr, as he is in the 23-man squad to face the Chipolopolo this weekend.
“I am so excited and happy to be part of the squad for the Zambia cracker and I am confident we will pick another massive victory,” the Ex-Monaco man said.
“Everyone’s dream is to see us fly Nigeria’s flag at the Russia World Cup next year, with hard work and determination and with the support of Nigerians, we are already in Russia,” he added.

Echiejile has teamed up with his colleagues in preparation for the all-important match immediately after the week 7 matchday in the Turkish Super Lig last weekend.
Coach Gernot Rohr retained almost the same team that crushed the Indomitable Lions of Cameroun, with Echiejile leading other defenders that kept a clean sheet in the match against Cameroun earlier in the month.
Two home-based professionals, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi and Afeez Aremu, who were part of the Super Eagles B team that finished as runners-up at the just concluded WAFU Cup of Nations in Ghana, are in the standby section but will join the team’s training sessions in Uyo.
Nigeria welcome Zambia on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium with a win guaranteeing a sixth FIFA World Cup appearance in Russia next year summer for the Super Eagles.
That would make the final qualifying match away to Algeria in November inconsequential.
