The Election Petition Tribunal siting in Jigawa state has closed without receiving a single petition against all the 2019 general election conducted in the state.
In his reaction to the development, the state governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar described it as a clear testimony on how they won the election in a clean democratic processes.
The governor noted that, the 2019 general election in which his party All Progressive Congress cleared all the seats contested in the state was conducted peaceful, free and fair, which give no cause to complain by oppositions.
Governor Badaru made the remarks during a a meeting with party leaders and other stakeholders held at Manpower Development center Dutse.
He said, during the election, Jigawa people had spoken and decided who they want to represent them or head their affairs in the next four years , and every body agreed that, the process was very transparent.

“We thanks God Jigawa people in their wise decision they overwhelmingly voted for APC candidates at all levels and testimony of their confidence of Buhari administration and APC government in the state”.
The governor also expressed his gratitude to all his party members and entire people of the state who work hard for the victory of his second term bid, promise justify the confidence restored on him.
“The victory of our party in an unprecedented free and fair election conducted in the state with unprecedented votes margine shows the satisfaction of Jigawa people in our government style with its policy of “minimum of one project per community” which we have covered 70 -80% of the state and we will surely cover the remaining communities in our second term which will begin by next May29th”.
The governor then promised to execute more projects and programs that will improve the socio-economic life of his people and move the state Robert level.
The governor however received a comprehensive report on promises he made during campaign and also a report on how the election was conducted in all the 27 local government of the state from two committee assigned with the responsibilities.
