He announced the sack through a statement yesterday in Uyo, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem.

The development is coming two days after stakeholders from Onna Local Government called for the sack of the CoS.

The governor and his estranged CoS are kinsmen from the same local government.

The stakeholders had accused Inyang-eyen of disloyalty against Emmanuel and overheating the political atmosphere.

Inyang-eyen, a former commissioner for Works, is also said to be on a collision course with the governor for advancing his senatorial aspiration against the zoning arrangement of Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District.
