The movie, which hit the cinemas on August 31, tells the story of a young lady who battles depression, which began early in her life after the loss of her twin sister.

The film, according to Laz, is a story that talks about the basic types of bipolar disorder; all of them involving clear changes in mood, energy and activity levels.

“People with bipolar disorder experience periods of unusually intense emotion; changes in sleep patterns and activity levels, and unusual behaviors. These distinct periods are called ‘mood episodes’.

“I got inspired to make this film, because I have a lot of people around me who are actually suffering from this mental illness but don’t actually know what it is, which is why I want to put this out there for people to see it: if its good, they will accept it,” she said

The premiere, which held at Ozone Cinema, Yaba, Lagos, attracted a host of movie lovers and celebrities in the creative industry.

According to the veteran actor Yemi Solade, “we have lots of individuals most especially our political leaders; some of them can be so erratic in their behavior. These are basically the symptoms but a lot of people don’t want to be bothered about it.”
