Expert rallies support for customs

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ogbese Marine Services Limited, Olusegun Ologbese, has drummed support for the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), to effectively man the nation’s border stations and facilitate trade.

Ogbese, in a session with the media, pointed out that the NCS is not be in a position to actualise its statutory roles and responsibilities without the support and co-operation of stakeholders.

He also hailed the Customs Chief on the achievements made in the areas of revenue generation and anti-smuggling.

The maritime expert also solicited for total compliance by port users, especially importers and licensed customs agents.

He, however, hailed the immediate past Zonal Coordinator, Zone A, Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Assistant Controller General (ACG), Aminu Dahiru, for the strides made while he was in office.
