Unless the unexpected happens tomorrow at the AstroTurf2000, Ikoyi, Lagos, the law firm of Falana & Falana will become the first team in the quarterfinals of the Bankole Olumide Aluko (BOA) football competition, also known as the Lawyers League. Falana last week defeated Jackson Etti/Edu 4-0 to set the tone for tomorrow’s second leg.
The match of the day is likely to be the tie between Olisa Agbakoba and the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, which first leg ended goalless. Both teams are past champions of the competition and after tomorrow, only one of them will be left to continue pursuing the trophy.

According to officials of AstroTurf 2000, “after the home and away knockout stage, eight teams will automatically qualify and proceed to the quarter finals.
“In the event of a draw, penalties will be deployed as decider. In the shoot out, each team will be entitled to three penalties.
“Teams are advised that a strict observation of kick off times is in force.”
