Popular actor, Femi Adebayo, has been appointed as a brand ambassador by digital-TV platform, StarTimes.
According to a statement by the TV platform, the endorsement deal reinforces its commitment to broader investment in local content.
The actor will be required to strengthen the bond between the brand and its customers.
The company, which recently made a broader commitment to Nollywood with the production of two series, ‘Ile-Alayo’, and ‘Okirika’, opted to identify with the actor because of his strong connection with entertainment lovers.
The Chief Executive Officer, StarTimes, Alex Jian, described Adebayo as an actor who exhibits all that StarTimes stands for. He said, “We made digital-TV entertainment available to all homes and have continued to offer unmatched service delivery to every household, irrespective of income level.
