• Set To Train 100 Beneficiaries
• Ooni Says PAP, A Success

The Coordinator of the Office of Presidential Amnesty Programme, Prof. Charles Dokubo has commissioned the Oil and Gas Vocational Training Centre at Agadagba-Obon in Ese-Odo local government area of Ondo State.

Dokubo said: “About 100 of the ex-agitators will be having their training here for the first phase for the next nine months. A UK based firm in conjunction with the Petroleum Training Institute designed the requisite curriculum for proper certification of the trainees, as approved by the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB).”

The coordinator, while urging the ex-agitators to make proper use of the facilities, assured that after the training, they would be able to take up jobs in any part of the world.

Speaking at the commissioning, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adewusi Adeyeye 11 noted that the Presidential Amnesty Programme under Prof. Charles Dokubo’s leadership is a success story. Oba Adeyeye said the fully equipped world-class facility would enhance youth development in the Niger Delta and the nation.
