The Federal Government is set to release a list of countries that can fly into the country.

This comes as the resumption of international flights has been moved to Friday, September 4.

Speaking at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Thursday, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Director-General, Captain Musa Nuhu, noted the list will be ready next week.

“In due course and very shortly, we will announce the protocols once the logistics are done, the protocols for the resumption and also further details on the principles of reciprocity that we mentioned will be given.

“We are looking at a list and we are working on that and hopefully early next week, we will release it,” Nuhu said.

Last week, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, made it clear that Nigeria will apply the principle of reciprocity.

Sirika explained that this principle meant carriers from all countries that banned flights from Nigeria, would also not be allowed to fly into Nigeria.
