Mr. John Odubela, the former Commissioner for Education, Science and Tech in Ogun State passed on today at age 55.
He was the Managing Partner, Rickey Tarfa & Co, Lagos. He was a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Mr. Odubela graduated from Ogun State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990, He obtained a Masters of Law degree from the University of Lagos, in 1995. He was a member of the International Bar Association and Nigerian Bar Association.
Mr John Odubela was on leave of absence from the office while serving as the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in Ogun State, Nigeria in the last administration.
The President of Olabisi Onabanjo University Alumni, Dr Makinde Ademola Stephen who was shocked by the sudden death could not say much when Infotrust called him. He said, “A sad loss indeed. A great loss to us, Ogun State and the country. May God comfort the families left behind”
