The Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu on his 78th birthday.

He said the Oba has been a great inspiration to leaders across the country, noting that his leadership qualities are unique. Akiolu, according to the Speaker, has demonstrated uncommon commitment and dedication to the growth and development of his people and Nigerians as a whole, describing him as a pillar of hope and unity.
Gbajabiamila expressed delight over what he described as the selfless service of the Oba of Lagos since his ascension to the throne in 2003, saying Akiolu has been a father to all.
A statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, yesterday, by the Speaker’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, quoted Gbajabiamila as praying for more fruitful years in good health and increased wisdom for the Oba.
