Globacom has congratulated the Christian community in Nigeria on the successful completion of the 2024 Lenten Season and the celebration of Easter festivities.

The company released the goodwill message in Lagos in commemoration of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

It charged Christians and Nigerians as a whole to embrace peace, love and good neighbourliness, which are central to the life and teachings of Christ Jesus. Christ laid down His life for the remission of the sins of mankind. He exemplified sacrifice, hope and love for others. Without these key virtues, humanity cannot thrive, the company noted.

The telecommunications giant said that these virtues must be imbibed by all to have a nation that will guarantee the good things of life.

While wishing its subscribers a happy celebration of the Easter holidays with their families, friends and relations, Globacom promised continued provision of seamless voice, data and Short Messaging Services as well as other value added offerings during and after the Easter celebrations.
