That uniform was unveiled amidst stupendous joy, pomp, and the unassailable hope of capturing the elusive African Champions Cup. They’d just won the league Championship the previous year to secure that berth to represent Nigeria in that Inter-Club assignment.
The backdrop grace of the VIP section of the Premier Liberty Stadium and the teeming supporters of the Ibadan based team prove the unmitigated point- WE LOVED THIS TEAM! (I still damn do, now this minute!)
