The grassroots campaign is designed to ensure that a minimum of 15 villages are reached daily.

APC leadership in the state led by Senator Danjuma Goje is also using the strategy to ensure that the party clinches Gombe from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Under the arrangement, the APC has met with 100 Emirs and Village heads to sell the ‘Next Level’ message and its governorship candidate, Alhani Inuwa Yahaya and other contestants on the party’s platform to the electorate.

In all the areas visited by the campaign team, the party supporters defied the odds to give the APC leaders a rousing welcome.

Goje, who presented Yahaya along with other APC flag bearers as the most worthy candidates to be voted for, promised that the party would speed up the development in the state.

According to him, the APC would ensure infrastructure development across the nooks and crannies of the state and also empower the youths.

He therefore urged the people to vote wisely and to desist from violence and other criminal  acts in order to have a free and fair election  during the 2019 general election, adding that the youths are the backbone of every society.

He appealed to the people to re-elect president Buhari as president in order to stop corruption in the country.
