According to the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee of the Campaign Council, Dahiru Hassan Kera, the winning chain cannot be broken during their own generation.

He told our correspondent that all roads leads to the Olusegun Obasanjo Township Stadium in Kaltungo LGA of the state, venue of the campaign launch where all has been set in place for a peaceful and successful electioneering campaign in Gombe State.

Kera said, what will be witnessed today in Kaltungo is the beginning of another road to a successful elections where the PDP is expected to cruise to victory in all the elections.

He said PDP has been rooted in the hearts of the people of Gombe State and his committee is not taking to chance an opportunity to maintain that trust and win all election beginning from 16th February to 2nd March, 2019.

He pointed out that even with the APC tsunami in 2015 that swept away many States in the country especially in the North, the people of Gombe still trusted the PDP and returned it to power because of the many people oriented programmes, policies and projects put in place by the Gov. Dankwambo administration.

“We in the PDP are very much ready for this election even if it will commence now. We have completed our ground work, we just want to meet the people to reassure them of our commitment”, Kera explained.

Party stalwarts expected to grace the campaign launch include, PDP Vice Presidential Candidate,  Peter Obi, Speaker of the House of Representatives,  Yakubu Dogara, Sokoto State Governor,  Aminu Waziri Tambuwal among others.
