Opera News has marked the close of the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia by giving away the second brand new 2018 Kia Rio car out of the three to a 25 year-old graduate of Entrepreneurship and Poulterer, Damilola Omojola who won the prize by participating in the Opera News’ Shake Your Phone campaign.

The car gift was presented to the winner in the presence of his parents and friends at the public viewing of the match between France and Croatia organised by the App at the Xovar Lounge, Lekki, Lagos.

Before the start of the game, which Croatia lost 2-4 to France courtesy of an own goal by Mandzukic and goals from Pogba, Griezmann and Mbappe respectively, the official of Opera News gave out the car to Omojola.

“I started shaking my phone day and night since the campaign. I won three days before the final of the 2018 World Cup that is how I won the car.

Reacting to the claim that winners of the cars are related to officials of Opera News, Omojola said: “I don’t know anybody, I just downloaded the application and I never stopped shaking till I got my price, this is for real, I don’t have any family working with Opera.

The tearful Omojola, while appreciating the brand, said, “I don’t know what to say anymore. I am the happiest person in the world right now.

I finished from the National Open University two years and I started my own business as a Poulterer. I appreciate Opera News.
