Muhammadu Buhari has appointed founder of the BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) group Hadiza Bala Usman, as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
This surfaced on a post on one of the presidency’s Twitter handle, on Tuesday. Her appointment is effective July 11, 2016.
Also appointed as NPA Executive Director are; Mohammed Bello-Koko (Finance), Professor Idris Abubakar(Engineering) and Dr. Sekonte Davies (Marine Operations).
However, an official statement to authenticate this, is yet to be released by the Presidency.
Usman, until her appointment was the chief of staff to the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai.
