The imposing campaign office of the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Professor Terhemba Shija, has been vandalised by suspected hoodlums.

The Director-General of Shija Campaign Organisation Dr James Mbachiatim, who conducted newsmen round the office located along Railway by-pass in Makurdi, Benue State, said apart from carting away valuable office equipment, the hoodlums also destroyed APC flags and removed the irons.

About 18 APC flags suspended on iron pipes were removed and taken away while glass doors and windows smashed,” Mbachiatim said.

He said while the matter has been reported to B Division Police State at High- level in Makurdi, sabotage can’t be ruled out because Shija is a credible and leading governorship aspirant who poses a threat to opponents.

Mbachiatim, accompanied by Director, Media and Publicity

Samuel Adzegeh, conducted journalists round the vandalized office.

They however said nobody can truncate Shija’s desire to take over Government House come 2023.

Many of Shija’s political associate and supporters stormed the office to show solidarity on hearing the news of the vandalisation.
