A public affairs commentator and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nnanna Ibemgbo, has slammed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over attacks on President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Speaking with LEADERSHIP Friday, yesterday, Ibemgbo said the PDP has nothing to offer Nigerians, saying it is in the interest of the country for President Buhari, to return in 2019 in order to complete the good works he has started.
Ibemgbo has also urged Ndigbo to vote wisely by voting for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He called on Ndigbo all over the country to come out en masse to vote for Buhari’s second term, so that 2023 will be Ndigbos’ turn to produce the next President of Nigeria.

He also called on Ndigbo to reject the political slavery which the PDP had subjected Ndigbo to since 1999.
“PDP party and its members are now claiming to be angel; we will not accept their Greek gift, Buhari is our candidate.
“PDP has been going about to promise Igbos heaven and earth.
“Ndigbo should ask PDP and its members, what happened from 1999 to 2015 when the party was in power,’’ he said.
According to Ibemgbo, “There is nothing wrong in reposing confidence in the government. This is the duty of every good citizen. I have never waned in my strongly held positive sentiments for the Buhari administration.”
He said that he is proud to identify with the Buhari administration, adding that those who call him an apostle of the APC government are not mistaken at all.
