Although , notwithstanding the influence of the APC and the PDP in Borno, other political parties also fielded candidates , as seen in the Independent National Electoral Commision ( INEC) published gubernatorial list, only that the presence of these candidates , is neither seen or felt by electorate in Borno.
Thus , in the battle for the soul of Borno Government House come 2019 , the electorate in the state will be filing out on Saturday to make a choice between Professor Babagana Umara Zulum of the APC and Alhaji Muhammad Imam of the PDP.

Another force that has almost cleared the coast for the APC’s, professor Zulum, is the wind of President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory, and the overwhelming victory of all APC candidates in the National Assembly election in the state, where the party swept all the seats in the election, leaving the PDP or any other party with none.
