The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele, has alerted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to alleged plans by insurgents to carry out attacks in parts of the country.
In a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele claimed that the planned assaults would target Christians and prominent individuals, warning that such attacks could occur within weeks.
He urged security agencies to intensify surveillance and strengthen preparedness, noting that several states—including Kebbi, Niger, Zamfara, Kano, Kogi, Ondo, Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, and Yobe—may be vulnerable.

According to the cleric, the suspected attackers aim to target traditional rulers and influential figures as part of efforts to destabilise the country and draw international attention.
Ayodele also raised concerns about potential protests linked to rising insecurity, cautioning that such developments could affect the political climate if not properly managed.
He called on authorities to take proactive steps to prevent any possible attacks and reinforce security in at-risk areas.
However, some of his recommendations on handling suspected terrorists have sparked controversy, as they conflict with established legal frameworks and human rights principles that uphold due process.
