The people of Isao community of Aramoko Ekiti Land, Ekiti State, South West Nigeria, trooped out massively to celebrate the coronation of their newly installed “Eleyinmi” at the Palace of His Royal Majesty (HRM), Oba Dr. Adegoke Olu Adeyemi (Mni, JP), the Alara of Aramoko Kingdom.
The Traditional Chieftaincy title of Eleyinmi in Aramoko is one designated for the unique representative of ISAO residents and indigenes in the general administration of the entire Kingdom. It is a title for the administration of justice amongst the Isao people. The holder of the title, endeavour to foster development within the territory and where necessary makes appeal on behalf of his community to the Asawo of the Aramoko Kingdom.

This explains the joyful disposition of Isao residents in Aramoko, at the installation and coronation of Chief Abel Ayotunde Olusola Alade as the 7th Eleyinmi of the Kingdom.

The coronation ceremony held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in the Palace of Alara of Aramoko was witnessed by all titled traditional Chiefs of Aramoko as well as important dignitaries from all walks of life from within and outside of the Kingdom.
Describing the new Eleyinmi as ‘Broda’ Ayo, HRM, Oba Dr. Adegoke Olu Adeyemi (Mni, JP), said Chief Abel Alade “is an achiever and a role model worthy of emulation. He is a resourceful person in the community and very respectful.” According to the Monarch, “these attributes of his explains the reason for the selection process to be free of rancour even though there are other contenders for the position.” He enjoined the populace of Isao to cooperate with the new Eleyinmi to move the community to the next level.
Speaking earlier to our Reporter, Chief Bolaji Fasanmi, the ‘Abalu’ of Aramoko stated that the Eleyinmi Chieftaincy Title is rotated amongst 3 families in the kingdom. These are: The Oguntuyi Family; The Osundele Family; and The Alade Family. The Ekerin Musulumi of Aramoko, Chief (Alh) Yekini Adeoti, also supported this claims seeing it as the basis for peaceful conduct of the entire process.
