Junior Lokosa wins maiden N3.8m Eunisell Boot Award

Kano Pillars forward, Junior Lokosa has become the first winner of the Eunisell Boot Award, which has a N200,000 for every goal in the past season. Lokosa scored 19 goals to emerge the highest goal scorer in the 2017/2018, which amounts to N3.8 million.

Announcing the award yesterday, Eunisell Group Managing Director, Mr. Chika Ikenga said apart from the N3.8 million, the Nigerian international will also receive a ‘Boot’ as winner of the inaugural ‘Eunisell Boot.’

“Lokosa scored an impressive 19 goals during the 2017/18 season – each goal is worth N200,000 and is well deserved,” Ikenga said.

He added, “Our passion for Nigerian football and players’ advancement is evident and we look forward to increasing our involvement even further. We shall be making an announcement soon.”

He said the date for the Eunisell Boot award would be announced, adding that the presentation would be done within the next two weeks.
