JUST IN: Buhari Returns To Abuja After Egypt Trip

The presidential chopper, which conveyed him to Aso Rock Villa from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, landed about 30 minutes ago.

He had travelled to Egypt on Tuesday to attend the Aswan Forum on Peace and Development in Africa.

The event held from December 11 to December 12 in Aswan.

The aim of the forum was to “address the interconnections between peace and development in Africa while promoting Africa-led solutions through strengthening policies and practices.”

Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, launched the initiative in his capacity as the Chairman of the African Union.

Buhari, during an address at the forum, said for Africa to progress, the continent must prevent and resolve the conflicts slowing it down.
