The former legislator also said that the PDP spokesman asked his party supporters to resist the government’s decision to reinforce security in Southern Kaduna in order to ensure free and peaceful elections.
According to Ibrahim, ‘’Ben Bako should be arrested because he has not only violated the peace accord but he is also calling for violence in the event that the election results do not favour his party. What he said in the video clip is beyond hate speech. It is a call to take up arms and security agents should not take this threat lightly.’’
The traditional title holder from Jema’a emirate of Southern Kaduna, also asked the people of Kaduna state to be vigilant because ‘’what Ben Bako said at the rally is part of a wider plan to destabilise the state.’’
Ibrahim, who is also the Deputy National Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress(APC) further described Bako’s outburst as the desperate act of a drowning political party which has seen defeat staring it in the face.
