Nollywood actor, Kalu Ikeagwu has finally narrated his robbery / theft ordeal.
News went round yesterday that the actor was arrested by the Nigerian police for theft and murder.
Kalu, who was later released narrated what went down, as he aired his own side of the story.
According to him, after his daughter was dropped off by her school bus, on opening the gate, he saw two men on ordinary clothes, with one pointing a rifle (AK47) at him.
Due to that fact, Kalu refused to comply, as he was not sure if they were real policemen, but as he couldn’t struggle with them, he made sure he alerted his wife on his where about, before being dragged by these men.
He further disclosed that he was handcuffed and taken to a station, where he was being questioned.

He however refused to say anything, as he requested to be taken to a proper station, before he could answer any questions.
Kalu said on getting to the station, he was shown a phone number, which he identified to be his friend who exchanged his old phone to get new phone, adding extra 37,000 at computer village, Ikeja.
It was then the police told the actor that he made himself a target, being the last person who dialled the number.
He however appreciated his wife for standing by him and believing in him, as he disapproved the police approach of arrest, citing that it’s embarrassing to Nigerian police at large.
The actor also expressed disappointment at how the incident was splashed on various platforms without getting in touch with him to hear his own side of the story, further exposing his family to imminent danger, by letting out his address and other private details about him
