Okere is the title of the stool of the king of Saki in Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The nomination of a candidate to fill the vacant stool is coming six years after the demise of the last Okere 6 years ago.

The last Okere of Saki, Oba Kelani Olatoyese Olarinre II died in April, 2013 at the age of 60.

It was gathered that Olabisi contested for Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo federal constituency in the 2007 general elections under the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and lost to Alhaji Tajudeen Abisodun Were of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
