Anthony Joshua would lose against heavyweight rivals, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, believes Amir Khan, reports express.co.uk.

Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, are vying for an undisputed heavyweight world title fight against Wilder on April 13 at Wembley.
The pair’s teams entered talks in the summer but could not come to an agreement, despite claims from Wilder’s camp that Joshua was offered $50million (£39.2m).

The world champions went separate ways, with Joshua defending his titles against WBA mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin while Wilder traded blows with Fury in the division’s blockbuster fight of 2018.
The American controversially retained his WBC belt via a split decision draw in that bout, despite common belief that Fury comfortably won on points.

The WBC has since “sanctioned” a rematch, but that has not stopped Hearn from desperately trying to fashion a deal.

Wilder’s camp have gone from saying AJ dodged a fight in the summer to begging for the match-up, but fellow British fighter Khan believes not being able to agree a deal with Wilder or Fury might be a blessing in disguise.

Speaking exclusively to Express Sport about Joshua’s main heavyweight rivals, Khan said: “I think Wilder is [a tougher fight].

“Wilder’s got a good chin, he throws a lot of hard punches.

“He is very dangerous. I think both fighters are very dangerous and both of them would beat Joshua. But I just feel that what would be a harder fight for him would be the Wilder fight.”

The Bronze Bomber (40-0-1) is renowned for his knockout ability, having stopped every man he’s ever faced bar Fury.

Despite having 19 fewer professional fights, Joshua has a similar reputation, while Fury’s slick movement and fleet-footedness make him a different prospect among the division’s royalty.

Warning AJ, Khan continued: “[Wilder is] more dangerous. Styles make fights, and his style suits Wilder more.

“Joshua doesn’t move his head. Whereas if you look at Fury – he was going under his shots and moving. Could you see Joshua moving like that? No.”
