Lagos socialite, Ms. Ogbulu Chindinma Pearl also known as Erelu Okin has been arraigned before an Oshodi Special Offences (Mobile) Court for distributing petrol at a party.
Ogbulu was arraigned on Monday on a four-count charge of distributing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS ) a.k.a Petrol as souvenir during her installation party on March 5, 2022 at Havillah Event Centre, Lagos before Chief Magistrate Kehinde Ogundare.
The offences violate section 251(1), 168 (1), 244 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 and Section 195 (2)(b) of the Environmental Management Protection Law of Lagos State 2017.
Chief Magistrate Ogundare granted her a bail of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.
Ogundare also ordered that the addressee of the sureties must be verified and they must present three years tax clearance paid to the Lagos State.
