Ladele, who revealed that the club was formed by former volleyball players to grow the sport, said it already has more than 160 players in its training camp in Ikorodu.  He added that the club has been organising competitions and clinics to create an enabling environment for children and youths with the ambition to play volleyball at all levels.

Ladele also said his organisation was out to enlighten students and their parents on the benefits in playing volleyball and called on corporate bodies and other stakeholders to help discover and nurture the abundant talents in the country.

“Our mission is to make Lagos State the hub of volleyball in Nigeria. This is why the club goes round schools and all areas in the state to scout for talents. Our focus majorly is to get tall and also skillful players. We go as far as training some of these children for free and also paying the school fess of some exceptionally gifted players.”

“Apart from football, Nigeria needs to be recognised in a sport like volleyball. Developing and organising competitions for the players help keep them in top form,” he said.
